What Does Love Mean?

Love is a very beautiful thing that cherishes the people around us. No matter what the person has or doesn't have there is love to give around. You don't have to look for love because love is everywhere. It doesn't even matter if someone has NPD (narcissistic personality disorder) or BPD (borderline personality disorder) because we all crave love to the fullest. We may go about different things to experience love. We all have a different love language, but all in all we all crave love in some point in our lives. God is love like it says in 1 John chapter 4. In Genesis 1 it says we were all created in his image. So in essence we all are love. Love is a powerful way to be there for the people we care about, but it can also be love there when there is no communication. You just feel it because you can love someone dearly and never speak to that person again. Love is a great feeling to have for people because it's selfless, not selfish. It's about giving that love freely. Even in Orthodox Christianity it talks about even praying for your enemies and hoping the best for them. Loving your enemies? That's powerful. Love is something that is from God and love is a very beautiful thing. Without love there will be hopelessness that will turn to anger and frustration. Maybe the key to happiness and giving love instead of expecting to receive it. It's not about taking, but giving. Love from God was all about giving. He gave you life and free will. Give love and see how it will make you feel better. It's all about what you can do for other people that will give you the peace of mind that you need. It's also about loving those through memories even if you and another person has gone their separate ways. Cherish others to the fullest.
